Job Summary
Arrak Consulting is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to manage sourcing, purchasing, and supplier coordination during our night operations. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring smooth procurement processes, cost efficiency, and timely availability of goods and services, while coordinating with international vendors and teams.
Role and Responsibilities
- Source and procure materials, goods, and services from local and international suppliers
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms to achieve best value
- Prepare and manage purchase orders, invoices, and procurement documentation
- Coordinate with international vendors across different time zones
- Monitor inventory levels and plan timely replenishment
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and budget guidelines
- Daily check product prices across different websites to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Resolve supplier issues related to quality, pricing, or delivery delays
- Collaborate with internal teams including finance, operations, and logistics
Required Skills
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar purchasing role
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Strong knowledge of jewelry tools / display elements
- Hands-on experience and knowledge in sourcing and purchasing products via Alibaba, Ebay etc.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office, and Google Sheets (especially Excel) and procurement tools
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Willingness to travel internationally when required
Preferred Skills
- Experience handling international suppliers and imports
- Knowledge of logistics, shipping, and customs procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
